What We Do
True Edge Solutions is a unique team building company offering a program that leverages the excitement of real sword fighting within a traditional team building event.
We believe skills like communication, delegation, problem solving, listening, and critical thinking are as valuable in the office as they are in real life.
Our events can be custom tailored to suit your needs to help develop the teamwork and culture that you are striving to embody.
Everyone deserves to participate in a team to showcase their skills and talents. With that in mind, True Edge aims for inclusion by accommodating as many capabilities as possible in our events.
Our team
Our team has used their 50 plus years of combined experience to develop programs that improve important skills like delegation, listening, conflict resolution, alongside professional instruction on the art of 14th Century Sword Fighting & Medieval Combat Martial Arts.

Brent Lambell
President / Co-founder
Brent has been fascinated by swords since childhood, a love affair that culminated in 2006 when he began studying the 15th century Liechtenauer fencing tradition. He returned to the university to study history at Portland State and graduated with honors in 2009.
Circa 2008, he also formed his first historical fencing study group, Drei Wunder, with his training partners Stewart Sackett and Tom Richardson. In 2014, he opened his school, Indes Western Martial Arts, and began teaching professionally while growing the Portland HEMA community. Over the last decade, Brent has established himself as a leader in the northwest fencing community, having organized and supported dozens of events ranging from international tournaments to local workshops.
His professional career has seen him work in property insurance and the golf industry, with most of his experience focused around building relationships through communication and problem solving. He has developed and managed business relationships with professional organizations including the PGA and American Golf Management.
Brent lives in Saint Helens, Oregon with his beautiful wife Leann and their three ill behaved dogs.
